A life-long devotee of healthful living, alternative medical therapies and non-traditional healing methods, Carlsen and husband Paul Dias, founded the Agoura Hills, California-based Mind-Body Solutions(tm), in early 1999. The cream was developed with leading homeopaths and herbalists, and incorporates the latest medical research into natural hormone therapy. ETERNAL WOMAN Body Balancing Crème is the only natural progesterone cream endorsed by physician and best-selling author Dr. Jesse Hanley, Medical Director for Mind-Body Solutions(tm), and is also the Medical Director of Malibu Health Center and Malibu Rehabilitation Center.

Carlsen's own grandmother was the first to use ETERNAL WOMAN Body Balancing Crème after being diagnosed with breast cancer in early 1998. Previously, the elder Mrs. Carlsen had been suffering for many years with some of the most unpleasant symptoms of menopause. Svava Carlsen credits the progesterone cream with relieving most of her grandmother's menopausal symptoms and helping her to deal with her cancer.

Family physician and woman's wellness specialist, Dr. Jesse Hanley, co-wrote What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Pre-Menopause (Warner Books), a New York Times best-seller with Dr. John Lee, a noted authority on progesterone and estrogen therapies who is known for his work with menopausal patients. Marketing Director, Pamela Serure is a product development and licensing specialist whose clients have included Donna Karan and Starbucks; she is also the author of Three Days to Vitality (HarperCollins) and a former patient of Dr. Hanley's.

Serure and Dr. Hanley have developed a series of educational seminars for women that discuss alternative health and life choices. They have also developed an audiotape series titled "Women's Passages" which seeks to lead women gracefully through the changes in their lives and bodies. Dr. Hanley also stars in a nationally televised infomercial for ETERNAL WOMAN Body Balancing Crème which will be airing on regional and cable television stations beginning in July 1999.
According to Dr. Hanley, her work is about empowering women and their loved ones to embrace the changes their bodies undergo after the age of 25. She teaches how hormonal balance significantly affects women in their 30's, 40, 50's and beyond. She is dedicated to educating physicians and women how to curb PMS and menopausal symptoms with diet, exercise and natural progesterone. Explaining why she created the cream, Svava Carlsen said; "I wanted to create a natural progesterone cream that would not cause any allergic reactions, and wouldn't cause an estrogenic effect. Many supposed progesterone creams also contain high levels of estrogen which will mask or covers up the unpleasant pre-menopause and menopause symptoms, but doesn't help to eliminate them. This is known as the estrogenic effect and is the main reason why doctors prescribe Estrogen Replacement Therapy (ERT) to their patients with menopausal, or pre-menopausal symptoms. Estrogen, without progesterone, is not a natural method of healing. It's also dangerous and linked to cancer."
