Marcia Urbin Raymond, Producer/Director
Ms. Raymond is the co-producer and director of the documentary Stories of Lupus, narrated by Charles Osgood. Winner of the 1999 Time Inc. Health's Freddie Award, Stories of Lupus was chosen as one of "The Best of the Freddies," a video highlighting the best documentaries chosen by Time Inc. Health. WNET (PBS/NY), the project's presenting station, launched the national broadcast of Stories of Lupus on October 7, 1999. It will continue to air on national PBS over the next two years. Raymond also consulted as producer to The Power of Small Change, a feature television documentary on the revolutionary enterprise movement giving small loans to women business owners in Third world countries and the United States. Raymond produced, directed and wrote Protection, a short experimental 8mm film that was shown at her art exhibition in Bilboa, Spain in 1997.
Charlie Pearson, Writer
Charlie Pearson has been a scriptwriter for twenty-five years. His documentary work has broadcast on every major network and cable channel. Pearson has garnered numerous awards including: an Academy Award nomination, multiple Cine Golden Eagles, regional Emmys, and a variety of film festival citations including San Francisco International, New York Film Festival.
Michael Anderson, Director of Photography
For thirty-three years, Michael Anderson has been working as director of photography; he has shot more than eighty projects, and moves fluidly between film and digital video. His award-winning documentary work has been shown on major national television and international television in Austria, Switzerland, Great Britain and Germany.
Dan Gleich, Sound Mixer
A veteran sound mixer, Dan Gleich has worked as a location sound mixer for twenty years in video and film production. Gleich specializes in independent feature and documentary sound mixing. His work has aired on NBC, CBS, BBC 2, Discovery and Frontline. In features, such projects as Nina Takes a Lover and Slaves to the Underground have been selected at the Sundance Festival. In documentary work, Special Effects won an Academy award nomination and The Times of Harvey Milk won an Academy Award.
Jeanne Vital, Editor + Avid Suite, iXL
As producer and editor Jeanne coordinates projects from pre-production through post-production. Jeanne Vitale brings thirteen years of production and post-production experience as an Avid Editor and Producer. At iXL, Jeanne has worked on projects for Goldman Sachs, BMW, Lucent Technologies, HealthInfo, Nickelodeon, MTV and the National Minority AIDS Council. She has worked in the New York film and video industry as a producer, associate producer and production manager for national broadcast television commercials, video news releases, direct marketing commercials, corporate videos and satellite broadcasts.
Peter D'Amato, Senior Producer/Broadband, iXL
Peter D'Amato is currently the Senior Producer/Broadband in the Digital Video Services Group at iXL, NYC where he is managing production of a broadband/interactive team offering traditional broadcast and corporateclients cutting edge convergent and streaming media applications. Currently, Peter is engaged in multiple high profile broadband web-based interactive projects for Cisco's SightPath.com, HBO, NickJr, Goldman Sachs, TIAA-CREF, Kenneth Cole and other clients.
