New Lifestyle Program Focuses on Entertaining with Style and Ease

ROMANCE CLASSICS, the network devoted entirely to romance, is going to show viewers how to make it all possible with the premiere of Everyday Elegance with Colin Cowie, the network's new original weekly lifestyle program, premiering on Thursday, July 23, at 8:00 PM (ET). "Colin Cowie is the creative force behind many of the most romantic and memorable high profile events. We're thrilled that our viewers can now share in Colin's secrets, and those of his friends and colleagues joining him on the show," commented Martin von Ruden, general manager of ROMANCE CLASSICS. "Everyday Elegance will teach anyone how to be a style guru."

Colin Cowie, the acclaimed celebrity party planner and lifestyle designer, takes viewers through the various steps of planning the perfect event. From a casual country brunch to a lavish affair, Colin makes it fun and elegant, not to mention easy. Colin's professional philosophy says it all, "I try to encourage people to take risks and realize that the reason why we entertain is to socialize with one another, not to intimidate."

ROMANCE CLASSICS cameras will be on location with Colin from Manhattan to the Hamptons as he visits his favorite auctions, antique shops, bakeries and boutiques. Everyday Elegance will reveal the keys to being an exceptional host and a gracious guest, as Colin shares his appetite for stylish living, with the chic and distinction that has brought him world renown. "There will always be a need for guidance, and that is my function," says Cowie of his work. "I'm actually designing a lifestyle - and people love it."

Colin Cowie was born in Kitwe, Zambia and raised in South Africa. His passion and flare for entertaining was nurtured from a young age by the lack of amusements available to him growing up. In 1984 he moved to Los Angeles where he founded Colin Cowie Lifestyle, a bi-coastal event planning, catering, design and production company. His celebrated clientele includes Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman, Demi Moore, Elton John, Hugh Hefner, Kelsey Grammer, Placido Domingo, and Jennifer Aniston. Colin Cowie is a regular on the talk show circuit, having made several appearances on The Oprah Winfrey Show, The Today Show, Leeza and others. He is also the author of two books, Effortless Elegance with Colin Cowie and Colin Cowie's Weddings.

ROMANCE CLASSICS is the 24-hour network devoted entirely to romance.
