Concurrently, Cowie’s signature line of fine china, crystal and silverware, Colin Cowie for Lenox, will also be released to fine retail stores throughout the U.S.
Cowie’s style is about breaking tradition and creating events that become personal expressions of style for the host or bride. He notes, “ I have written this (book) to inspire you to design a wedding that is completely, utterly yours.
Forget what society or tradition dictates about wedding celebrations. I believe there are no rules when it comes to weddings, except one: style should prevail.
Style, for me, has nothing to do with the designer clothes you wear, the timepiece on your writs or the car that you drive. True style relates to how we
treat one another, and that means making every single guest at your wedding as welcome and as comfortable as possible.”
Actress Holly Robinson says: “Colin is my prince. Our wedding was truly a divine dream. From the arrival of our first guests to the fresh rose petals that rained upon us as we kissed, to the last drop of Veuve Clicquot Champagne. Our wedding was big, fantastic, beautiful and a blessed event. I had to pinch myself throughout the night as I witnessed moments that I fantasized about since I was a little girl. My dreams with his flair and amazing attention to detail is the recipe for a day I will always cherish.”
Star of TV’s “Frasier,” Kelsey Grammer says, “Colin listens, suggests, visualizes and then executes the perfect wedding: the wedding we hoped for, but could never have had without him.”
